I have a Godin A12 12 String electric acoustic... one of the most comfortable 12 strings i've ever played... has that electric 12 string playability with that acoustic projection.. this guitar is loud and bright when its not plugged in.. plugged it is well ballanced with lots of mids...

Foggy thats a pretty guit ya got there.

I got bit hard by the 12 string bug. I've had an Ovation acoustic/electric for 20 years or so and then got a dean double neck electric that weighs about as much as my car. then I saw this Dillion model that is an electric 12 with a tremolo on it. I got curious and picked one up and that changed everything for me. Just an awesome sound! Since then I've built a strat style 12 with a trem and am thinking on how to get the craziest guitar ever built for me.....

this is the one I put together before it got pups. It has an Iommi and a Lace deathbucker in it now.

Chanks, have you ever played a WEM Sapphire 12 string? There was one dancing around on Craigslist here a few weeks ago... Temptress.

No, I haven't. I've played similar stuff though. (I'm thinking Burns.) You should grab it if it's still available and not too expensive. I'd bet it'd be pretty nice.

Yeah, definitely had a Burns vibe. Looks like it's gone for the time being. It was around $700 which seemed halfway fair to me.

$700 is a little more than I'd wanna spend, but not unreasonable (if it's in good shape).

Hopefully it'll pop up again.

I've always wanted a Burns (either 6 or 12), but they've always been too expensive. I'd settle for something like a WEM. (Actually, I should really just fix up the guitars I've got.)

So here we are... 2.5 months after I ordered it.

Probably worth the wait though. It plays so well. Definitely the best acoustic 12 string I have ever played.
