I'm really digging the heavy pick. Having the stiffness without the thickness is nice.

Yea love these picks so far. Ointment they sent made my peen swell a wee bit though.

Got my picks today, diggin' the A1 pretty hard. For some reason it bothers me a little to have texture on both sides of the pick, though.

They're pretty neat!

cut 'em down to jazz III size = even better!

I like having them for grip, but I wish the logos didn't protrude so far.

Yea I feel the same about the logos

Got mine on Monday. Played them for 1-2 hours a day since. I usually use delrin 0.73mm picks, and have been using the Graph-tech A1. Not a fan.

My Graph-tech picks came with rough edges. They also had a big, uncomfortable burr on the top of the pick. Not cool. They seem to be molded as a whole pick, rather than stamped out from a sheet.

These picks, compared to delrin picks, are slick, as in slippery. They tend to rotate in between my fingers, and I find myself adjusting the pick position more with them than with delrin.

The A1 I have been using has considerable wear after just 6-8 hour of use. It has scrapes and scratches all over it, and seems to be developing a crack right down the middle.

In terms of how they sound, well, it doesn't matter. I don't see any advantage that this pick provides over my current pick, and I see lots of disadvantages. They're more expensive than the picks I use, too.

It was worth a try, but I won't be switching.

Got my picks and lube packets on Thursday. One of the packets ruptured in the little bag, so it was a little messy but no big deal. Haven't used the picks yet, but I like the feel of them over the ones that I grab for the few times I do use picks.

I actually like the lube. That's right, I said "I like lube!" Unlike FastFret or the Dr. Stringfellow stuff, I found that this didn't make your fingers glide over the strings any faster or allow you any more real speed. What I did find is that it cut down on a lot of the string slide noise that you hear on new strings (the set I've been using is about a week or two old). That, to me, was excellent. Especially when playing solo pieces, not hearing that squeak from sliding around was nice.

I'm actually liking these TUSQ picks way more than the nylon picks I use. At about the same thickness they are reasonably stiffer and seem to return to their original straightness whereas the nylons kind of get floppier and floppier over time, and I find the grip to be decent too, not as good as the nylons though. Soundwise, nice and crispy as a denser, stiffer material should deliver. I don't really care for the talcum-ish hand lube stuff; i can see it's usage but it's just sort of silly. All 3 of the picks I got had very smooth edges and feel really nice, but now I'm worried that they're inconsistent as Mike points out above, he got rough ones. Overall, I think their free-pick marketing has actually worked on me.
