No argument there. I've never really played that particular model. I did once lust for a Korean or Chinese made LTD P Bass copy,...but it didn't float mah boat enough to actually pick it up.

I'm a Fender/Gibson/Guild/Gretch kinda guy when it comes to electric guitars; but I wouldn't mid getting my hands on one of the nicer Eclipses,...as long as it's got passives in it.

Their guitars in this price range feel very nice, the basses are good but they're just very okay and not really anything cool enough going on for me to keep it around
