I have one, don't know what version, 2013, or 2014. No bleed through.

It's a modded jet city pedal. Shockwave, IIRC.
How high do you crank the gain? I start to notice bypass bleedthrough when the gain is at 2:30 or higher.

Bummer to read these are, essentially, modded pedals. I bought one thinking it was an original design.

[Edit:] I've also noticed the pedal is noisier with a battery than when connected to my pseudo-isolated, cheapo power supply.

I contacted the original builder about both issues, and he seemed more focused on the unlikely possibility of mods done by the prior owner than offering repair suggestions in his response.

Classic deflection. Post gut shots, somebody else can probably figure it out.

I keep the gain pretty low, maybe 9:30 (or 3/10).
Also, as it was a preorder, I asked for a "bass friendly" version, so the component swapping was different.
I even got a note with it, mentioning some of the "bass specific" component values ...

I'll admit, I actually like how the pedal sounds, but all this "no gut shots - my amps'n'pedals are full of eels" shit is just
Why not say what's going on? I mean, if you can make Jet City stuff sound good, you got some kind of talent, no?

Because half the time they look like somebody threw random shit at the PCB and then applied glue and the other half of the time it looks like absolutely nothing was done to them.

Eel bites can be nasty. I could try to disassemble the pedal for gut shots, though it may prove to be a minor surgery of sorts given the chassis appears to be bonded by all bolts and screws attached to it. Additionally, if the builder (or modder as the case may be) uses magical erase spooge to cover components, my efforts may be all for naught. I tend to wonder about quality control and consistency with Hovercraft products after my Ionostrofear experience, though the handlebars seem rugged.
