A 2 inch speaker would be pretty useless for a bass synth.
I thought the charm of the PP was that you could bring it anywhere and jam. I know the internal speaker doesn't sound all that great, but not including it ties you to an amp, which cancels out the portability. I guess there's those tiny battery amps.
The speaker is part of the charm of the Piano ones, but you can't fight physics and any speaker they would put in that form factor wouldn't even be worth it for the take anywhere factor. The Bolsa will be cool because of the Midi and ability to do some phat bass sounds through and amp. Phat bass sounds without an amp that can deliver them is pretty pointless.
