Pawnshop mustang sounds great split. My jet king had coil taps and was not good but that was probably due to the cheap pups.

Agreed. I have a Mustang Special, so many great options with the HB plus in/out phase single settings. They maintain volume and fullness cuz those Enforcer pickups are hot as fuck, output around 22-23K, crazy. They sound so good tho, wide open heaviness as oppossed to sterile compression.

The cleans are stunning too, super warm, full and blooming with excellent clarity. Oh, and they love dirt/fuzz, really come alive then. Maybe the most pleasantly surprised I've been with any stock pickup, ever.

Agreed. I really liked the built-in coil-split in the tone controls on my T-60. Such a cool feature.

Every time one of you guys posts a T-40 pic I REALLY want one.
Shit...I could have the full-on mid-1970's Peavey rig if I got a T-40...
Wonder if staining it green to match the jag bass would be an atrocity.

For a while there has been a T-40 listed on CL around here for $300 but I've always resisted the urge to go try it out. One day I'm gonna cave.
