Same here. I love Jimi, but I'm not a fan of having real faces on my pedals

+1
that univibe looks promising

I don't think I'm that interested in these but I've always thought Dunlop was a pretty good brand. But I guess that's if you're counting Way Huge, MXR, and then the normal Dunlop stuff. They're cheaper and some of them are great. Oh well :/

Jeorge Tripps' fingerprints are all over this. He seems to be behind most of what's cool out of Dunlop lately.

I like a FF in a size that fits well on a cramped pedal board, though I like the classic saucer shape. The graphics, not offensive to me but not necessarily a plus to me.

The Uni-Vibe gives me some doubts since I wonder about the circuit compromises to get that to fit. SMD? Optocoupler chips instead of a bulb setup? HO-scale bulb games like the Micro Vibe and Chicken Salad? That and if you don't have expression access for the Speed control, please put it in a good place to turn with my shoe.

Octavio, dunno. Don't know them well enough and don't have a big connection with original packaging.

i like the artwork. Maybe i get the FF and univibe. The later is in that size pretty interesting to me. I don't need the 100% real deal on that. 80% would be ok to me ;)

I love how diverse our opinions are here - I dig the artwork - looks like a cleaner version of what CB is doing these days. It's always interesting when someone sees the exact same thing and hates it.

i could do without the Hendrix artwork, but at least it's better than that tasteless series of pedals somebody makes with dead rock stars offing themselves. i could be tempted to try the FF because i've never owned one, but they aren't quite my style.

Repackaged circuits in smaller colorful enclosures, definitely nice but nothing new. I always liked a few of MXR's pedals. Recently I realized how much I appreciated their enclosure style. Just a color, a logo/title, and what the pedal does. No bs great sounding pedals. I like how the Jimi pedals look and I feel putting Jimi's face on them will help get new players into pedals but also limit their playing at the same time by unintentional power of suggestion.

The Univibe looks promising but beware of "analog-voiced"...

Agree PP... :thumb:

I just read the Univibe description and it said "all analog".
