Joyo pedaltrain clone?

its expensive to hire a internatonal patent lawyer
on the scale of things pedaltrain
aint that big of a company
theyd spend a ton just to get them to stop
then provin they lost money cause of joyo
is a long,miserable process
these companys that make shitty copys take that gamble
whether or not the company will actually sue them
but a cease and decist from the other side of the world
from a company thats just tryin to get by
means absolutely nothing to them

Yeah I'm not totally understanding the rationalle behind the Joyo copy. The prices don't seem significant enough of a difference to warrant buying a clone with elastic bands to a legit pedal train with brackets.

i had a really great and lengthy conversation with john (founder) of pedaltrain at the stomp box exhibit in brooklyn and he is awesome. this on the other hand sucks... it's funny, he said to me at some point that he hasn't seen any outright clones come out but he was sure it would happen at some point. lame

Yeah... buy a Pedaltrain. I've had five different ones at different points... the PT-2, two Minis, and two Jr.s, and they're wonderful products. Totally solid and really a very good deal for the price. Plus you get a great gigbag and all the velcro and shit you need to put it together.

when i got my PT2 they were selling them as a special deal on MF which included a hard case for the same price as a PT1 with soft case.

yah. i've had all the sizes i think. PT boards rokk. super solid. the velcro it ships with sucks buttholes, but it's nice for them to include it.

I have a hard time seeing the point at that price.

I got a PT2 used, with gig bag, for $65 shipped.

Nothing was wrong with it whatsoever.

The Joyo would have to be cheaper than a used Pedaltrain to even be considered.
