I like knobs, tap and midi sync. Don't care for expression.

i've never had a box that worked with an expression pedal, so i have no opinion there. i love the idea of tap tempo, but in my experience it's a bit too imprecise to really rely on. if you really want your delayed signal to be in time, there's still no substitute for having the drummer play to the delay's timing from the start of the song. what i really would like is a combination of a knob and a readout in milliseconds or beats-per-minute so i could set the timing simply, quickly, and precisely.

Nova Delay has that Feature: bpm or ms digits with knob and tap tempo access.

Side note: In my world The Click is The Master neither the drummer nor the effect. So if i can't bend the effect with its control in my Master Time scheme, i'm not interested.

You want BPM? BAM!
You want msec? Bam!
You want tap? Bam!

It's stupid expensive, but yeah.

I think the idea behind the Visual Sound Time Bandit is to precisely dial in a tempo in BPM through the tap tempo input (or to sync a click track). it still not out though but I'd like to try it.
