The Big Muff uses 100k pots. You can really use any sort of pot as long as it is 100k, but these would keep it as close to mojo as you could get:

Re: Mo' Muff, Mo' Problems
Try cleaning the pots and switch again. Both are pretty piss poor quality on these muffs, no doubt, but the symptoms you describe may still be as easy a fix as a more thorough cleaning. Replacing the pots/switch in these is more complicated than simply soldering/rewiring, and it can/will be a serious pain in the ass to find parts that will fit the existing holes.
Special low-frequency version.

Not to mention how easy the pads & traces can lift on the cheapy boards with desoldering in these unless you're careful/experienced.

Check the ground wire. It may be loose. It should be in contact with the enclosure. I had that issue when i took the feet of my black sovtek. The ground was bolted to one of the screws.

Thank you all for the advice.
Imma try giving it some TLC and see what happens. I'll post an update.

Re: Mo' Muff, Mo' Problems
So...hopefully some of you guys remember me.
I FINALLY got around to messing with my Muff (got super busy). I've desoldered the wires connecting to the footswitch but I can't seem to figure out to pop the darn thing off? If someone could help that'd be awesome, I don't wanna wreck the darn thing...

It's broken forever. Just mail it to me. I'll pay postage.
Or, you know, you could wait for a more helpful response.
