i'm not so much in it for the pitch shifty stuff, but more for my curiosity as to how it sounds... also the lofi and hifi switch... and of course momentary switches are fun.

i do want an el cap though. i'm currently using a dl4 basically just for the looper, but i want to sell it. could the sound on sound feature replace my dl4?

I don't use the sos cause I have a 2880 for looping, it's easy and sounds good but I don't use delay that way... The DL4 has always seemed like a pile of poo to me and I have never ever ever wanted to touch one... Most of my friends have one and I give it the evil eye... More power to Reggie Watts or whoever...

a 2880... god i'm jealous. i've always agreed with you on a dl4, but a while ago my friend was getting rid of his for cheap so i figured i'd try it. more trouble than it's worth, really. and the loops are so short.

the loops on the El Cap are pretty short too if I remember, and the DL4, despite having a semi bad reputation, is found on more live boards than I can even count. It's probably one of the more usable live application loopers out there, which is why everyone has em. I mean, Minus the Bear used to have 9 on stage at any given time.

same with the superdelay, the loop is too short... so I got a BOSS Loop Station.

if you are a cool girl, do it without. I never needed another footswitch. Works great with only one
