And that oh-so-delicious C11 Mod.

I miss mine too. :-(

I 2nd the Digitech Whammy nomination. You can get individual octave up and octave down sounds and much more, and it's very reasonably priced.

I've always been on the fence about the whammy, though I really dig some stuff by people who do use them. Anywho, recently saw a video for some mods that make it really interesting. Molten Voltage added a few knobs that add upper and lower pitch limiter controls, allowing you to add on fractions of an octave, which is pretty awesom imo. Is it worth the $110 to have them mod your whammy? Not so sure...but it makes the whammy more versatile.

+1 for the EHX pog. Tracks well. I use mine on bass without issue.

I have a micro pod, it does a very good job.

The upper octave tends to sound a bit too digital though.

Got a free whammy pedal today...shame there is a broken plug in the wet signal jack. There also appears to be a great deal of crazy glue inside :idk:

I'll have to find another jack for it and do some surgery

That's what I am trying to avoid. I may try one out, though. I like the clips of the Polyanna I have heard. Is there a way to turn the fuzz all the way down or almost off? A slight boost would be okay, but I don't want an additional fuzz to overtake my SG...

I've only every tried two Octave pedals and they are the Digitech Whammy & Pearl OC-07. Though I do kind of agree with NewarkWilder about Octave pedals, but I'm going to give them another chance. I also agree with some of the others on here and would recommend the Micro POG.

my bad! It is one and 2 octaves down, sorry for the confusion.

The Danelectro Chilidog is great, tracks well, has seperate octave up,down and normal knobs. It's also way cheep!
Try it out, what can ya lose?

However, if you try the full-size POG, it also has an LPF slider than can take some of that digital-y chirping away, and it sounds a lot more natural. I personally love it.

If you're looking for octave up, there's also the Akai Unibass... it doesn't sound quite as digital-y as the upper-register of the POG can, but it also can't handle chords. So... mixed bag.

How about throwing a Dark Boost or something after a POG to smooth it out...

I thought it was 1 and 2 octaves down...

Thanks for the correction. you are right. It is indeed 1 and 2 octaves down. It is a cool pedal though.
