I found a cd in a charity shop called Atmospheric Moods -the power of relaxation- "The Mountain Retreat" the other day. It's extremely good. The cover artwork is a collage of stock nature pictures and at the back is a dictionary description of the word relaxation. All of the instruments have the wonderful obvious midi sequenced sound and there's a constant bird chirp in the background of every song.
I like this thread better cause it wants to know what I'm listening to now, not whether or not I enjoy it. This cd is the reason I study sound art.
I'm gonna go google it: Lee Spencer is apparently the genius behind it
It's been Jesus and Mary Chain all day long ...Barbed Wire Kisses ( there's some insane shit there, and some of the most extreme JAMC noise stuff, kinda like SWANS ) and some live from 1987. in Vienna,Austria.
ILF pedals: DE Eye of God, Mellowtone Wolf Computer, Mellowtone Singing Tree LE, Fuzzhugger Arc Flash Oscillator, DSc Miniberator, Mysterious J boost/cut/tremolo pedal
Just picked up both albums by The Dear Hunter (no not the deer hunter)...completely floored. I wasn't sure what to expect, I kinda liked TREOS but was never a huge fan. Great stuff...though he could use some more fuzz kek Check out red hands or the procession on their myspace for a taste
