DAMN. so much cool stuff, cheesecats.
all those Martins! yow!
single malt looks amazing, too - mandolin, mandola, what?
I'm sure I'll want a 12-string and a mandolin before too long, too.

I have a mandolin and a banjo I love, but as far as guitars go I have one of these with an L.R. Baggs M1 Active pup fitted (apologies for stock photo, but a) I can't take a pic of mine right now, and b) it's grimy as shit anyway).

It's a beautiful and wonderful sounding guitar, but they're seemingly pretty hard to come by (in the UK at least) and they have a super thin matte finish which will turn shiny/ grey/ black with your palm juice if you play it enough.
Despite my pedal collection and electric guitars, this gets played more than anything by a country mile. It's just "right". I haven't lusted after any acoustic since I got it.

Only half kidding, I didn't lust after acoustics any more (I had a few I could use whenever I wanted) after going vGuitar.

No picky mics, no hassle, lets me play a Jaguar for everything!

I got out bid on a twelve yesterday and am happy and sad about it.. sad because It was by the same builder as a classical I had that was awesome and happy because it needed tons of work... Still I plan on getting a old lawsuit twelve string [cuz you get lots of cool guitar cheap that way] and rework it a bit to turn it into a 4 courses of 3 strings vs 6 of 2.

Some of the guitar sounds on the GR20 are pretty good too, though I'm not sure I've admitted that opinion to anyone before.... The "acoustic guitar with orchestral strings" settings can be amazing.
***the seconds pass***
Now I know why I've never admitted that before- I feel so dirty now

Sounds on the 55 are worlds better and tweakable on the synth side of things (including acoustic and with pads etc), but I'm talking simply about the emulated guitars that are ported over from the VG-99 etc.
The alternate tuning on the fly alone was worth it for the octave down etc, it saved me from buying subpar Bass VI copies.
The no latency, tweak the body size etc on the virtual guitars is amazing, and I can still use 2 synth voices that are actuall editable to round it out if I need, plus the regular guitar signal.
After over a year the thing is still like i just bought it, amazing and makes me happy.

I wish I knew more about those roland guitar synths, and that I could afford one.
