Did you actually own the pedal, Stonergrunge, or did you play it in a store or something?
Some of the TonePrints can get pretty extreme.
Hadn't noticed the other problems you mentioned, but as I've said, it's not perfect. I'll have to listen and hear if I can notice 'em.
The guy who helps me with the guitar's maintenance had one and he was trying to sell it, so I borrowed it, hoping that it could be more extreme than my univibe. I made several tests with my entire rig and, like I wrote before, it was good in some cases but for the rest... not so much.

That's weird. Must be differences in our guitar/amp set up. I just played with my Shaker and was getting a slight boost when the pedal was on.
I hope you find another vibrato pedal you like better.
If you don't, you should give the Shaker another try. The TonePrints really do make it very flexible. I loaded the "Slow Sweeper" TonePrint and really love it.

If anyone is on the fence about the Shaker, GC Dun Goofed:
http://www.guitarcenter.com/TC-Electronic-Shaker-Vibrato-TonePrint-Series-Guitar-Effects-Pedal-106848120-i1797757.gcIt looks like they confused the street price with MSRP and then took $50 off the street price.

Wow, good eye, MEC. That's a total deal.

I'm loath to mention anything Behringer, but they have a vibrato pedal that's supposed to be a pretty decent clone of the Boss VB-2.
Otherwise and on the cheap, you could always mod a chorus pedal to lift the dry signal path.

Or get a danelectro cc chorus which has a mix knob.

Didn't know that one could do that. Is it a CE-2 clone, do you know?

Update: so I ordered the Malekko Vibrato from a chilean importing company called FuzzBox but there was a problem since I wanted the new version which runs from 9V to 18V and they sent me the previous version instead (9V to 12V). I don't want to use it yet because I don't have a 12VDC adapter and called the company to inform about the problem... Damn it! that's why I wanted the new version because I do have a 18V adapter, but anyway...
There's a little detail that is killing me right now (yeah, I'm a maniac, I know that). Everytime I move the pedal, there's a subtle noise inside of it, pretty much like a "rattle", as if a very tiny part was loose. Is this normal or not?

It's digital, so no, it isn't a CE2 clone. It's a nice cheap chorus though.

Certain chorus pedals witl stereo outputs can do vibrato if you use the output signal from only one of the jacks.

Did you open the pedal up and take a look to see if anything is loose?
Also, is there someone in Chile who can build you what you want? That might be easier than importing a pedal.

I'm pretty certain you are both thinking of different pedals of the same name. The original Cool Cat Chorus was the big metal enclosure, and is a CE-2 clone. The current Dano Cool Cat Chorus is a little plastic blue, possibly digital, thing. Dano has been using "Cool Cat" as the name for the last few Series of pedals. So, you're both right.

Is it digital? I had no idea.

IDK to be honest, I meant to put, "possibly digital."
