oh! ha, no, the instrument cables are AOK. have plenty of other electrics i switch around all the time. also isn't anything to do w/ the amp & isn't running through anything else.
i bought it long enough ago that it's no longer in my ebay purchase history, unexpectedly took me forever to get around to switching them. just took that on a whim when i ran into the listing, hadn't really planned on it.
