Totally dig my Mini Ark. well worth the price of admission. It's my go to synth pedal. The many knob options can be daunting at first - but the pay-off for tweakin is huge - there is endless sound sculpting. The combo of midfi glitch computer and mini ark is gnarly - whether runnin guitar or a noisebox like the drone commander. The mini ark also has a square wave out - which i highly suggest experimenting with. i run that into a separate channel with it's own effects or sometimes hand it off to a bandmate for them to have another signal to mangle. Dan has a new pedal comin out - Divine Hammer. Here's some vids of the prototype:

You are the best/worst enabler. You say that about every pedal.

My problem is that no pedal is perfect so I keep searching. But yeah, I like to exploit every pedal for all they are worth and in some cases what someone else doesn't like I do enjoy for the uniqueness of it.

And that right there is why UG belongs on ILF. We are the enablers of our own worst habits! Kind of like an anti-support group. Or a 12-step-backwards program.

Thank you! ;)

Uncle Grandpa I trust you opinion but you are an FX whore! LOL

How is the tracking on it? Does it compare to a Great Divide?

I'm actually asking for someone else, I'm not buying one. haha.

But the helpful answers are great.

Love you guys.

The tracking is one of the strong suits of the mini ark, never played a great divide. The mini ark performs just as well with guitar as bass regarding its tracking and harmonizing. The tracking is adjustable from pretty solid to glitchy madness. It also has a clean blend.

Did you do a bass demo by chance?

No, they were all with guitar. I tend to use my plls with guitar more than bass...mostly because I'm a guitarist first, but I always put a pedal through its paces with drum machines and keys and etc. and the mini ark performs great regardless of input. I actually went and tried it on bass before I posted to make sure my memory was right on.
