Oh. My. Gawd. YES!!!!!!!!!
So, uh, if you're having a hard time finding the time to record with it properly, you could always just ship it to me for a few weeks. I'll do all sortsa recordings with it for you! For free, no less! No charge! I'll even name all of the songs after you... and whoever else you want!

God damnit, man. This thing is an inspiration. Makes me want to do something insane with the body you sent me (still haven't had the chance to route for the pickup).

yeah I totally forgot. I go through periods where I just stop playing altogether, and it's been a while.
I just made a subkick mic the other day, so I'm thinking that on the bass cab and the SM57 on the geetar cab and then I'll give ya some bad playing. I don't often get the chance to turn it up, so hopefully this week I'll record something!
Oh yeah I did this too:

Drilled out the Tele bridge holes to let the strings breathe a little and now they ring out a bit more through the third pickup. I think the big trem plate adds a little zing, but that might also be BS. Anyway, when the third pickup's mixed in with the others it sounds truly fugly, especially through fuzz. As intended.

Finally made a demo of sorts, yo. I rearranged my pedalboard and suddenly felt like playing for the first time in months, it was magical! Quality of playing is debatable, though. I kinda lose my time while thinking about the FFSSLLCLCLHKRRRRRR going on
Anyway, this was made with the behind-the-bridge pickup on 100% combined with the neck pickup at like 20%. It of course gets much clangier when you play closer to the bridge 'n stuff.

I wanted to mic it, but that ain't happening any time soon. I'll record some maybe more vanilla sounds, plus a bit of bowing on the fretless part!

Can you post a link to the soundcloud. I can't view it on my phone. This thing looks crazy awesome.
Me using this would be like a little girl shooting a desert eagle; it's be just TOO powerful for me to control.

That's impressive just how much weight that tone has.
I maintain my earlier statement about a girl firing a hand cannon.

Thanks, doods.
One day I'll get around to raising the bass neck from the body a little so that bowing is a bit easier...one day.
