The push it button can also play a specific note or latch the sequencer. Handy for editing sounds on the keyless Mopho.

I haven't had enough time with messing with the arpeggiator yet... "they say it will" but I've heard others that say it won't... I'll get back to this when I mess with it more. Curt has has his longer then me so I'd take his word for it on this.

mopho vs phatty ... well I did buy it to augment the phatty in the first place so...

I've been reading and apparently the arpeggiator doesn't traditionally latch but there's some sequencer/arpeggiator mode which allows you to layer notes similarly. Different sites are saying different things though, so not totally sure.

Thanks for all the info guys. I'm still torn between all of my options. I could always wait a few months to save up for a Mopho x4 and enjoy polyphony (I do love me some polyphony), but it's not really portable for my needs.

Believe it or not, I actually had a full on Little Phatty II but I returned it shortly afterwards because at the time I couldn't be bothered with the menus, and truthfully I was falling in love with the guitar but didn't realize it until afterwards.

Sorry, I haven't played with the Mopho's arpeggiator. Mine's job is almost always sequenced basslines.

One cool feature of the sequencer is that you can trigger it from the audio input. When I'm not using feedback, I like to trigger it from a TR-909 rimshot and change up the pattern.

I think I could live with a Sequencer. How extensive are the menus and the submenus? I like that the Mopho has all of these knobs on the exterior, so I hope that translates to fewer submenus to navigate through.
