Thanks for the comments! And the love.
two things about the shoes: first, these are my home shoes (fuck your "public"

) aka slipper. that's how i roll. second, i wanted to do the video just with socks but the distance is a lot higher with socks than with the rubber sole of the sandale. (The manual says also, that there are different effects/behaviour depending on the material.)
So we germans get away with socks and sandals

@Sylvain: sorry, i'm back from the rehearsal but forgot the faye sing. That has to wait a little bit...

No problem... I know it's going to work now.
And it's not available at Moog Audio yet.

That was too easy... Germans and Japanese both have a knack for stringing long descriptive sentences together and making it into a word or phrase...
And I think there is a German word for that too...

Would the Kommander work on stage? (maybe it's too dark, does it need a lot of light?)

Koma product description wrote:Because of the innovative circuit design there is no interference from sunlight or stage light, so the musician can use it wherever she or he wants.
It measures the distance, like a bat... kind of... no light needed

Yeah, it's not a light probe... it's an IR distance sensor... No wonder that thing needs 500ma!

Damn, that's cool. It would be sweet to use this with some synth stuff. Crazy noise-bombz.
