I ordered a set of 10's to throw on it if the strings are shit out of the box. I like thicker strings anyways

Reminds me of a jam session I had about a year ago, I was playing an Epiphone Dot tuned down to drop C and doing sludgy riffs. The guys I was jamming with thought it was the funniest damn thing. Apparently they didn't know that semi-hollows could bring the br00tz.

I just recently (few months ago got a thurston Moore jazzy) made the switch to single coils and I have been LOVING it do far. So much clarity and definition!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. It'll be something different and an interesting challenge for me to write heavy music on single coils that sounds as thick as I like. BUT IM UP FOR IT

I think the first thing I do before I put new strings on it is swap the God awful fake tortoise shell pickguard for a black one. I think cosmetically that might be the only thing I do. I was debating putting black pickup covers on it, but I think the white covers on the black guard would look rad
