Yup.
Chanting lyrics and Arabian scales? I understand that is their
thing, but c'mon. How many albums can you get out of it?

Eh I think there's definite limitations of doing anything in the format they've done. How boring would six records that all sounded like variations on theme be?
But I'm pretty biased, I love everything this band has done, love Grails and will happily follow Al chanting about jesus weed pyramid spaceship temples wherever he wants to go with it.

I think the drumming is a bit different or different enough to keep it fresh. And dat bass toan is enough to keep me listening

loving this new album. didn't grab me at first, but it has definitely grown. the direction OM has been heading since emil amos is pretty much exactly what i want to be hearing from this type of music. all the added instrumentation really flesh out the eastern meditation vibes. doesn't sound like rob lowe played on this album and that's a bit disappointing.
