Oh no I didn't mean to sound sarcastic; I literally meant that my expectations of the album are so low that I was going to say something pithy and horrible, but then I thought "you never know" and that I might give it a try first. My comment was only directed at me.

And then he rants on about Greenwood being a sub-par guitarist.

Talk about missing the point of all the other things Greenwood does & plays in the band. Though I guess Billy has forgotten what it means to "serve the song". Are those vocals still bizarrely separate and forward in the mix, Billy? Yeah, I thought so.

Plus the last time Corgan did anything interesting on guitar was 1995. Greenwood has done interesting things on several more instruments many times since.

And the funny thing is, I wrote that being a bigger fan of Mellon Collie than anything Radiohead have done.

Also, who the hell still cares / is talking about Weird Al? That plus the guitar-oriented comments prove Corgan is still stuck in the nineties.

The only thing he's pissing on is my fond memory of his early work.

Billy Corgan puts me off listening to his music so much. What a banana he is.

I am probably never going to listen to most of it. I respect that Billy is going on making new music that isn't rehashed Siamese Dream or MCIS, but it's not a direction I can relate to. He is a very different person making different music. At least it isn't like Van Halen trying to recreate the magic of it's past but is a band trying to progress... thats the vibe I get anyways.

These Radiohead comments are strange because I swore I read an interview a few years ago where he said Radiohead was the best current band in the world. I think he's just trying to stir the pot.

I am disappoint.
