Fuck, why don't I live in the US? The closest I ever got to seeing them was hanging out at one of their sound checks.

The new Melvins (Lite) album is great! I've seen the Melvins more times than any other band and I'm always down to see them again.

Saw them last night.... INCREDIBLE.

And I was SO HAPPY AND EXCITED when I found out TWEAKBIRD was opening for them. Last time I saw Tweakbird was 4 years ago in a Sushi Restaurant in Richmond, they sounded excellent, better than ever, and heavier too. Guitarist was using a Baritone, kind of looked like a Dano. I think it was tuned to Bass VI territory though, and he had his signal split. Sounded HUGE.

Melvins Lite was awesome. Trevor Dunn on standup doublebass was a total sight, and some of those lows, holy shit. Really tight performance out of them, I had a blast. Buzzo's EGC could pick up ANY sort of noises, I loved it and it didn't help my GAS

Very cool. Missed the Portland show due to work, but heard it was amazing.

Tweak Bird's an interesting opener. Saw them with Tool a few years back, and I dug it.

Love Melvins, have seen them every time they've been through Boston the last few years, but the idea of Melvins Lite just doesn't sit well with me :idk:
