Yep, I like it.

Yeah, it's pretty cool. Blend and low/high eq on a super-cheap box? Pretty good value imo. Sounds pretty nice.

I love Boss pedals. I have an LS-2, a DD-20 and an SL-20 right now, as well as the Behringer clone of the DC-2.

In the past I've used and loved: HM-2, MZ-2, SD-1, BF-2, PH-3, DC-2, CE-5, PS-3, EH-2, LMB-3, FDR-1, RT-20

Really want to try an RV-3, a PN-2 and get another PS-3 (and maybe another RT-20) at some point.

Unfortunately, the FZ-5 is kinda shitty. If you can find an older FZ-3, they are pretty awesome.

I really enjoyed the RV-3, RV-5, PS-3, PS-5 and PS-6 when I tried 'em out.

Although my favorite moment with boss pedals had to be when I was playing through one of those wall display unit thingies and turned them all on at the same time. Twas fun. :animal:

using a tu2, dd7, rv3 and bd-2.

Love all four, especially the rv3. Did not like the newest flanger (bf3?).

boss is great... i've got a jazz chorus and all the boss pedals are tested out on those, so they sound great through it. proud owner of a tu2, ce2, rv3, blues driver, and a the tuner of course. they sit shamelessly on my board with other "boutique" pedals like the mini rrr and a fuck.

Boss deserves appreciation for Slicer alone. And their huge loopers RC-50 and RC-300 don't have any competitors on the market as far as I know.

I find the older the boss pedal, the more likely I am to enjoy it. The newer ones I've tried, I've been really meh about, but man, I fucking miss my DM-2 like crazy. And I fucking love my BF-2.

i always thought the irrational hatred of all things Boss was somewhat silly even before i was an effects guy...i've heard Boss stuff that sounded stupid, but never anything that sounded as tragically awful as some EH gear. right now i have an RV-3 that i use all the time as my go-to short-cycle delay because it's easy to operate and sounds good with any combination of effects. IMO the TR-2 gives away little if anything to the majority of the "vintage-sounding" boutique trems on the market at 1/2 the price. the only reason i sold mine was that i wanted a tremolo with a blinky LED that cycles with the pulse so i can sync it when it's disengaged. and i have a pair of equalizers, a GE-7 and a GEB-7, on my looping board to tweak the looper outputs. solid, well-built, functional devices that don't crap out: what's to hate? sure, they're limited, but within their limits they often sound really, really good. the RV-3 is a perfect example...it has one delay sound and three reverbs, but the sounds work wonderfully together and separately in a variety of settings.

Eventually some band is going to come along and use the SL-20 to its full potential (or at least in a super awesome way). Then everyone will be like, "WOAH I NEED ONE ASAP OMG CUM EVERYWHERE DER CHOPPY TONEZ".

I want one super bad, I've just never had the scrilla.

FZ-2 is cool if you can find one for not-ebay prices. Electric Wizard in a box.
