Oooo the new second voice DOES sound cool. Octave down and harmonies at the same time is awesome.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat...that is so fucking awesome!

Has anyone ever tried that? Goddamn I'm really interested in buying one, but I'm sure the price is reasonably large.

Probably mentioned here already but I've got some good info sent to me by Ken during recent email exchange. Also, that Deluxe SV got me all hot n' bothered!! Here's wut he had to say about upcoming projects (1st response) and more specific details (2nd response). I need to start a separate bank account to store funds specifically for upcoming Infanem releases cuz this shit is gonna be BADASS!

From KENFANEM himself

"The big news at the moment is that the Faye's Her unveiling is only
about a week away. I'll do a preorder discount for the first couple
days like I did with the Faye Sing to reward those that have been
patiently waiting

After that, my design time will be split between developing a series
of disk-based (Binson style) echo/flange/harmony units, redesigning
the Harmony Synth, and releasing a deluxe version of the Second Voice.
None of those will be ready until summer, though, and I'm not sure in
what order they'll happen. I'm most excited to get into the echo
units, though, so they'll get most of the attention and, barring
difficulties in tooling up for them, first release."

Some more specific deets

"The main things I'd like to add to the deluxe SV are a filter and a
dedicated octave down that can be used in addition to the harmony. The
heart of the Second Voice is a circuit made up of a PLL and two
divider ICs which is much more complicated than needed for simple
octave down. A dedicated, simpler circuit section for that would give
better tracking and let folks get fat suboctave AND other harmonies
instead of one or the other.

Also, I intend to eliminate the rest of the circuit noise, make the
blend go full wet/dry, and possibly add an external control for
gate/sustain.

Further, it really depends on what I can fit in the box but I'd like
to add a jack to interface with the external Faye's Her controllers to
enable CV control of Range and filter sweeps and to individually
toggle the harmony and suboctave"

Ok... that's good stuff. :thumb:
I will keep money in the bank account for the disk echo and the new second voice.

This summer already. :yay:

Do you think they'll really be ready by the summer? It seems like a daunting task, especially considering the Faye's Her's he has to make first.

If the words "octave down" are included, sylnau will be excited! :)

Those 2nd Voice updates do sound pretty great. I'm not disappointed that I just ordered one though cause I got a great deal.

I had a v1. Sold to get the v2 updates. Deluxe is too badass to pass so here we go again.

I'll get the SV for sure. It's a part of my bands' sound and my only grief was the second version seemed to be lacking a bit of sustain the first one had. I can usually put something in front of it, but this causes the effect to sound very different, but still second voice'd. Love love love it. I want the Harmony Synth but it so big!

That's what I needed to hear. The SV was by far one of the most fun pedals I've ever played on but it was almost unusable in a live setting due to that noise. It's going to be insane without that.....I'm going to have to start saving.
