I prefer dub reggae and reggae influenced music more than I do regular reggae, but it's all equally good. Especially dirty reggae:

You don't need the embed. You just need to put this:

Yeah, Eek-A-Mouse is quite unique. Love 'im.

Bad Brains are a talented bunch, but I've always liked their hardcore more than their reggae.
While these guys can marginally be considered reggae, I was reminded of them thinking about hardcore/hybrid/genre-mixing bands:

That Horace Andy record is f-ing great! A lot of that late 70's/ early 80's stuff on Wackie's is weird and
cool. Check out the Lovejoys "Lovers Rock" LP
http://youtu.be/gRnKXuWbbNIJunior Delahaye is badass too...
Also, the new (as in recorded and released recently) Sly & Robbie "Blackwood Dub" LP is awesome too.

This is relevant to my interests. I may have to take up smoking weed again just to listen to these. Are they just being reissued or remastered? I've got all of their albums in mp3 format, I never knew how many they had until i really started digging. I love how half of their albums sounds like they just booked studio time, smoked a guatamalan boatload of reefer, just hit record while jamming, and then mixed while bouncing it to 2 track.
