i haven't listened to a whole lot of new music this year. i could dork out about a bunch of local music i love, but i'll try to keep this brief:

Thank you for this thread, I didn't know about the new Manson and Conan and Torche albums.

My up to date faves are slightly out of date.. cause this thread wasn't here yet... but these are my newest and favouritest albums:

Oh!

I listened to the newest Mastodon album live. So there's that. It was alright.

And the new Opeth album live... there are few tracks that sound distinctly like Phish. I wonder if Phish with distortion and death screams would sound like Opeth?

Fun- Some Nights. This is pretty weird and I am not sure if I like it. But that's usually a good sign.
