And more:
http://www.buildyourownclone.com/board/ ... =9&t=37348Project board for the Spin FV-1 digital processor w/ integrated AD-DA. This is the last thing that Keith Barr of Alesis worked on. Open source DSP. I think this might have me more excited than the Neptune Delay, actually.

I'm working with madbean on the digital thing. It's baby steps right now. Just ordered the FV-1 development board today. Should be here early next week. Although I should caution everyone that it will likely be *months* before anything useful comes from my dicking around with this chip. I've done some programming in the past (C++, Visual Basic, Cold Fusion, AppleScript), but I have never worked with assembly language at all. The whole "writing to a memory register" thing is like Chinese to me.
On a side note, Keith Barr was an awesome dude, and his absence is definitely felt. I don't think anyone on the planet understood reverb they way he did. Luckily, we still have quite a few posts of his on the Spin Semi forum (and probably lots of other places, too).

Aight, bitches. Just did me up another delay project.
Same core delay circuit as the Neptune, but with the LFO from my Shoot the Moon trem circuit. It does subtle modulation, but it also does hella-crazy-on-bath-salts pitch bend madness as well. With the Wave set to square and the Speed and Depth at max, it can do ring-mod-like repeats, which is weird as hell, but kinda cool.

Haven't boxed it up yet, but here's a PCB teaser. I used some SMD parts on this one. And in hindsight, all the controls should probably be pots, so when I box mine up I'll move everything to the outside. One of the guys at BYOC/madean's forum is going to do a more nood-friendly layout and do a small fab run. I'm too busy to mess with that right now.

I like that even better than the Neptune. Nice range of sweet and subtle to really out there seems to be possible.
Is some friendly person gonna need to drop the tip for the board run on this one, too? Or is it within board rules for you to provide the link?

Raulduke at madbean's forum did his own layout. He has posted the Eagle files:
http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/inde ... pic=5190.0That means anyone could have some boards made for their own use.
