Got a Tall Font Russky in a trade a few weeks ago and my bass player instantly fell in love with it. He's a total SOUND guy... doesn't care how many knobs or what it is as long as it sounds good... but he said he was immediately taken with the TFR. And that's good, because, frankly, I didn't much like the Pickle Pie B (which I used for bass as well). Even with the clean blend, it got really farty... not all that smooth. The TFR is smooth and has a looooot of low end. A great pedal.

I bought one. I'm a huge fan of muffs, and the Box of War is one of the best I've heard, and I've heard a good number! I'm interested to see how the Caprid holds up against my long-time favourite, the Ernie, considering they are both claimed to be in the vein of the Ram's Head. If it does anything for me like the BoW does for the Civil War it'll be money well-spent for me, really. Could be cheaper no doubt, but the same can be said for the majority of pedals! With the permanent discounts from stores like Prymaxe it really isn't completely unreasonable.

is it also making you slowly necro all the w&c-topics?
there might be some sort of evil curse in that sword of yours, might want to get it checked out.

Dude, that's not it at all.

You're welcome to talk about Wren and Cuff pedals, but I've already told you it's bad forum etiquette to necrobump a long dormant thread just to tell people how you feel about something.
I missed your post. So, I don't know what you wrote. If you don't have something relevant to add to the thread (like still relevant maybe), you might consider just starting a new thread. A new Wren & Cuff appreciation thread perhaps? I might not've missed the release of these if we had one:
