you love it. and i really think your inability to remember a safe-word is a WAY bigger issue than me mixing names up once in awhile.

"Engorge" was not the best choice of safe words.

CUM ON MY FACE IN A SPIRAL PATTERN BECAUSE I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT TOOOOOOOOOOOOL.
also poorly chosen.
i have no idea what the Tool/Spiral connection is. my drummer and singer are HUGE fans, i've never listened to anything but that first song with the claymation. but my band keeps shouting Spiral this and Spiral that. we ARE going down to LA to watch Dana Carvey or whatever the drummer from Tool's named do his side band in a tiny club thing. they are....... excited. so many puddles everywhere at practice right now.

I love Tool....they're right in line with my belief that it's not about virtuosos and douchebags playing as fast and complex as they possibly can. I fucking hate that music. Tool keeps it simple. And they play as an ensemble. Take a riff and build on it. Build on it some more. Let it evolve. That's where it's at.

MSU I totally agree with you on every note. Tool was one of the best concerts I have ever been to, such a good show.

lol. i have no feelings either way towards them. i liked the music on the one or two songs i've heard, but Maynard's voice just... hurts to listen to. it's in a range that i really can't get into.
i DO pretend i don't like them or am disgusted by the whole Prog thing just be a douche and annoy my drummer. but he likes the abuse too. and forgets safewords all the time also.

lol. man, that guy's voice is almost as hard to listen to as Maynard's. but i never dug on talking over songs that much. interesting musics though. sounds like an early NIN song in it's first stages before too many layers were added.
whozat?

OK, dude. What. The. Fuck.
I'm cool with you all pretending the back of my head is Brian's. We all do that. Whatever. But now you're going to just throw around your drummer and comparing him to me? What the fuck, man?
Bad form.

also, listening to Warpaint right now. thanks! had never heard them. pretty fucking fierce.
They make me very happy Behndy. The bass player. Her. Forever. Especially since Natalie Portman betrayed me... no.. betrayed
us all by accepting a Frenchman.
But even before that. She's...
so pretty. And plays a Rickenbacker through a bunch of effects. In
Warpaint.
That my friend, is how you spell 'desire', regardless of what my writing of the word a second ago in a different manner might have lead you to believe.
But yes, their music is also badass. Egads, the
hooks.
I used to love Tool. They ain't a bad band by any stretch, and 'Lateralus', 'Aenima', still badass albums, but I don't really listen to them anymore. Nine Inch Nails perfected their shit in that 'Still' CD, The 'And All That Could've Been' DVD/Live Album, and 'The Fragile'.
I've no major interest in much else I've heard by them, but I've loved those records since I was 16, and still now.

Live versions of Beetles and Elephants aside Warpaint tends to be as boring as watching paint dry. Their full length was disappointing, I wanted to like the bouncing boob bassist.

LET ME RUN THROUGH HER GENITAL FOREST.

I like a whole bunch of that 'Exquisite Corpse' EP, and a good few moments on that fullength. 'Billie Holliday' is an awesome song.
And yeah. I'd just introduce her to my mom. Be all like: "We jam. I love her."
