I came to this thread expecting it to be about a band called Cold. I figured they were some kind of kraut/ambient thing I hadn't heard of and got excited.

I am disappoint.

I seem to recall there being a really bad nu metal band named Cold. I'd look it up, but I really don't think I want to remember.

i don't listen to them, but I've accepted that bands exist that are millions of times worse than they are

I like them as a studio band. The albums, particularly the last 3, all sound incredible. Brian Eno is probably more responsible for that than anyone in the band.

Live they use WAY too many backing tracks for all sorts of instrumentation and vocals. They are NOT a real live band.
