I happen to own both of the Trems in question and I can tell you.. they're gooders. *smile* The GK3 is brilliant too! If you have any plans on doing anything with CV in your life then I'd suggest the GK3, it's such a cool and powerful feature.

I think it's really a matter of digital vs analog here, they each have their own kind of tricks so it depends on how you like to use tremolo. Tap vs no tap is the biggie...I think you have to do some real soul searching here, man.

The Goatkeeper seemed amazing, but at $340, I don't think the money was worth the amount of use I'd be putting into it. I found a Tremolessence for under $200 and snagged it, so thanks for all of the suggestions. :)
