I ordered it a bit ago. I'll post pics here for reference to others on color and quality.

And of course there will be plenty of Noisemaker Effects demos done with it as well. :thu:

Ok - so bumping this up with a quick review.

I picked up the VM Jag today. Dubkitty got the color right - it's definitely a more rosy, faded pink-red than it is orange. Definitely closer to what you'd expect for Fiesta Red.

Out of the box the thing played great, although the action was a bit higher than I prefer.

I did a quick setup, threw my usual D'addario blues/rock set on them (11's) and it's good to go.

Some quick thoughts before I write up a proper review/NGD type thing tomorrow (with pics and some demos, of course).

-The Duncan Designed pups are surprisingly decent sounding. To my ears, they're actually fairly close to the Duncans they're modeled after (JB/Jazz set, IIRC.)
-The bridge on this is actually very cool. Sort of like a duo-sonic bridge, but improved. It's totally functional, and gives good sustain. For those of you wanting a trem, it's top loading, so you could slap a bigsby B5 on one of these as fast as you can put screws in. The strings would go right through onto the saddles - possibly without any extra friction.
-The Strat Jack is surprisingly comfortable to use. I like a traditional Jag as much as the next guy, but I have to say - I'm not minding the Strat jack one bit.
-The tort guard is so ugly that it's kind of cool.

I'll go into more on it tomorrow, and I'll be updating Noisemaker Effects over the next week or so with some humbucker demos. :thu:

Played a Jazzy today and loved it, the jag ain't bad either, but i liked the P90s more

the thing is they sound kinda... boxy. At least unplugged (yeah, i care about that) - might be because of the rather large cavity under the pickguard
