Anybody know of any clips of a real Graphic Fuzz in action? I found a few videos but they are of a non-working one. The one I've got has the bad whine and the dude that let me borrow it wants to keep it original, so I have no idea what a real 100% working one sounds like. The Basic Audio one doesn't sound too much like the one I make, at least in his clips. The cool thing about this effect is the weird filter. I can kinda hear it in the Basic Audio clips but maybe he just didn't turn the filter up enough because it definitely takes away from the "fuzz" aspect when cranked. On mine, it will totally cut out the signal when the filter is maxed and gets really chirpy when dialed back just a bit. It is very unique sounding. Which from talking with the dude I borrowed the real pedal from said is how its supposed to go. I wasn't going for an upgrade/improvement with the Blasteroid. Just wanted to make it as true to the real deal as I could because the circuit is so freaking simple and odd, like the other stuff I make.

Yeah, the Basic Audio isn't a faithful copy and it doesn't seem as filtery to me. I've never heard, much less played, an original ESR. So, I've got nothing to base a comparison on. I just like funky sounding fuzzes. That Blasteroid Fuzz is soundin' mighty fine & funky.

(Blasteroids is one of my favorite games. I like playing it, but perhaps not as much as Space Duel.)

Some store on eBay had 6 original ESR Graphic Fuzzes for $300 apiece. A little rich for me, I am pleased with my Dirt Halo!

that store with 6 of them is not legit, nor are they original.
They had them listed on ebay as "Original Earth Graphic Fuzz" but they are really just expensive clones.
When they originally listed them they posted the photos of the clones, then about 6 months later they relisted them, no photos and would not respond to any messages I sent or anyone else I know who tried to get some photos.
so stay away from them.

I got a Blasteroid Fuzz of my very own now. It's in my possession. I'm not giving it up, but you can get Matt to build one for you. 'S'awesome. Love it. So chock full o' filter fuzzy.
