I will probably own a Death Ray sometime throughout my life as well. Rick makes killer stuff and when I can afford it, I'll be more of it

+1 on that one! I have a sovtek green small stone. Sounds way better than the current (nano) one. I kinda want to try another one, but all the other ones i tried sounded not as deep, washy or swoosh-y .

The 2 favorites I've personally tried are:

Subdecay Quasar DLX for EVERYTHING - classic phasing or swooosh-fuckmybrain-insanity.

Toneczar Halophaze. Simply beautiful.

Boss PH-2 for the most pronounced swoosh and awesome sounds all the way across the Rate knob...
Sovtek tall font Small Stone for the creamiest and most pretty sounds

slowly getting into Whetstone, too :) i like the simplicity of the first two though

This thing is crazy.

Duder, just checked your video that's up on BEZ site. Nice sounds man, or rather, it freaking great sounds! You are running the phaser after your distortion? I'm new to this whole phaser business - after trying a phase 45 and hating it I've stuck to my flangers but hmmm... maybe it's time to invest. Except that I'm broke as shit, but that's another kettle of fish.

I'm not a big fan of the phase45, but I like pretty much every other phaser. The phase45 is just too tame and dry, small stones are much warmer, and anything more versatile is better than that.

criminally underrated. if it's good enough for Ripley Johnson, it's probably pretty damn radd.

Favourites?
Maestro PS-1A
MuTron Phasor II
Original script MXR Phase 90
Oberheim P-100
Spaghetti logo Small Stone

Readily available?
Whirlwind Red box Phase 90

I'd still like to try a Whetstone and a Lovetone Doppleganger though ... and I've been hunting unsuccessfully for a Gerd Schulte Audio Elektronik Phasing A for years
