Thanks for the reply.: )
I 'm quite new here and I'm still searching for more guitar-oriented usage of the Xerograph. So far I liked the one with the Iron Oxide I watched last night. It's nice to see that most Iron Ether products have footswitch jacks on them and they're reasonably priced.

edgie wrote:Hi guys,
I'm currently looking for a filter effect(for guitar) and this is now on top of my list for its wide range and unique sounds(based on what I saw on youtube). My questions are:
1. Can it do the sample and hold feature of the Robotalk(1 and RI) and Subdecay Proteus?
2. I read that the recommended expression pedal is the Moog EP-2 but what do you think of the new Source Audio Dual Expression Pedal or maybe one of those Mission pedals? Can you recommend a good expression pedal that can also double as a volume pedal?
If ever, I'll be buying from Prymaxe Vintage to take advantage of their discount promo and they don't have the Moog.
I have the Source Audio pedal after using the Moog with my Xerograph for the last 6 months. The SA pedal uses the same pot value as the Moog, so the functionality is basically the same. I didn't care for the Mission because it didn't seem like it had the same range as the Moog.

yah. Mission's are a bit smaller throw than Moog's or modded VP-Jr's. it actually works out for me 'cause i usually ended up using the Moog's wheel to limit the range anyway.
the Source Audio doubler outer thing is pretty neat looking. i'm SUPER happy with the two out one Mission did for me. good TIMES.

Thanks for the tip on SA, Moog and Mission guys. I read a lot of reviews about Mission's short throws so I'm not considering it. I'm happy the SA is like an upgraded Moog. A friend is the Source Audio dealer.: )

yeah, the Mission is a little longer throw than a normal wah, but less than a Moog. like i said, for me that works, but i can see how that'd be an issue. lol. those things are built like TANKS though. so good. and they were nice enough to do one for me that was 2 always on outs, one Line6 M-Series and one normal, so with an Expressionator i can control 4 normal pedals that have expression inputs and a M5 or M9 at the same time with one expression pedal. SUPER useful.

Hrm. Not really happy with my Malekko E. Filter. This looks like it has a ton of features...and from demos it seems like it's a winner.
Still unsure about pulling the trigger, though. I'd like the ability for almost wah-like stabs with the tremolo before it (think Lucky), but I'm still up in the air.
Thoughts?

Yeah, Xerograph DLX is way more fun and useful than what I had originally intended on using it for.
