Apparently the pedal i have is the right side of the tectonic shift, i can try and post a a demo of that next week if you'd like!

here's the second message i got from him:
ebay seller wrote:Glad to hear it. Every part of the pedal was made by Wade at Monolith. What u have is his version of the muff that is used on the Tectonic Shift pedal( which is one side muff other side super fuzz). Which rules btw.

That would be great man!

no! :)
from what i have read the spectre is supposed to be a more trebly kind of fuzz but have no idea what circuit if any it's based on!

This thread is confusing  So we are talking about the oracle/spectre guy right?

I've got an oracle, awesomely huge fuzz (both inside and out  ) Yeah it's a 1.5 variant with a muff tonestack (which is also a push/pull tone cut)

I've always wanted to try the spectre...
Anyone know what's going on inside the spectre?
My guess is a germ fuzzface along the lines of the analogman peppermint.

Blungo had/has a Spectre, I remember him describing it as trebley, maybe its a Vox tonebender
Here is a gutshot courtesy of TGP but I doubt that helps anyone (right, left two are Oracles)

Yeah...I don't think this question was ever answered.

The second ones are made by the same guy who makes the (totally kickass) Monolith cabs, Wade Metheny. I met him at 2011 NAMM, very cool dude. Been itching to try his pedals, but he didn't bring any with him, and demos are hard to come by on the interwebs. Here's the website:

I should have bought an oracle while I had the chance... do these ever come up used?

I saw a Lodestone one time, but that's it.

They pop up from time to time, at a premium.
They originally went for dirt cheap...he certainly could have charged at least double what he did.

If you do find one, make sure the seller goes overboard with the packaging. All those sharp right angles of solid wire do not hold up well while being manhandled by ups/usps.

Spectre is great.
Can you tell the circuit from this pic? Two OC75s and an AC152.

He described it as:

The second fuzz out the gate is the Spectre. Its a fuzz tone I've been trying to cop for a long time..... Its aimed at a more psych / surf / 60s tone that is bright but not brittle or harsh.
This one has a slightly attenuated low end that makes it cut through with a "vocal" sort of presence, and has a voice switch which selects between a bright, "Rangemaster with more balls" sort of voice and a more traditional fuzz response with a stronger mid range presence. This one runs two OC75s and an AC152 in Q3.

That layout makes me cringe, but they look great, and probably sound good too...oh and all that space, yet still sidemounting jacks
