Oh, and the reason why peeps with CP's aren't noticing this issue - the radius is not 7.25 on CP's....

and, if you have issues with tuning stability, it's because your guitar is not setup right. The JM trem is amazing - takes a SHIITE TON of abuse AND will stay RIGHT in tune...WITH the stock bridge!

stock 10-46's you don't notice it too much - but as you go heavier (which Jazzmaster *require* in my opinion) you'll be like WTH?

i went to 11-56's and it was awful - the outer strings where ok - but the G and B would always choke out on bends. If you jack the action way up the TOM is just OK. I don't play with THAT low of action (just under 5/64th's at the 12th fret)

Which mod? Replacing the thimbles? Or mod'ing a mustang bridge and dropping it on the TOM posts?

The latter seems much easier and like it might solve the problem. Not sure.

Modified bridge. That's the best way out of the radius issue. I'm not a Mastery convert myself.

I replied to you over at OSG on the mod, just let me know if you have questions. It's pretty easy to do.
