It sounds like there's a little demon inside my wang bar.

Also, the history in the Guit/Bass forum here will continue to grow as I slowly-but-surely move threads over from the former mish-mash of the Gear forum. Feel free to dig back and bring old threads back to life.

No Wang for you.
Sure there was - a bass guitar is as much guitar as any other. Besides, I've been mistaken for a guitarist so many times it's not even funny anymore.

I was talking to a neighbor yesterday and I asked how his gigs were going and he said great... I asked if he had any spare pedals he didn't want and he said he was going to go the pedal route but couldn't figure out when to turn them on and off and it was too much so he just plays with a GT-Pro... So not WANG...

GOTTA LOVE AUSTIN CL... I typed in WANG and got this...
Your Metal is weak flaccid - this Ibanez RGseries guitar can help! - $550 (Buda, TX)
"The Ibanez RG 198 QM-ABS guitar: Made in 2000, this particular guitar was not a U.S. market-sold item. As with other models sold in Japan, this guitar features the Antique Brown Sunburst finish on the quilted maple on agathis body. The pearlescent/nacreous border adds a distinctive look to an already beautiful body ... like a well-placed money shot on the back of a beautiful Thai hooker. But unlike the Southeast Asian prostitute, you won't need antibiotics for the subsequent wang rot after getting your love from this magnificent piece.
Most other RG's feature a Floyd Rose type tremolo bridge. This model features a Wilkinson type. The part number is VFT2, should you want to look it up. Pickup configuration is H-S-H. All hardware on the guitar is black. Just wait until your fingers get the chance to dance across the rosewood fretboard. I'll bet they've never been intimately involved with anything quite like it.
I am the second owner of this guitar. The first owner was a private guitar vendor who only played this instrument when it first arrived in his possession, owning it not but a few months before selling it to me. Sure, it was the guitar's first time being played ... but the experience didn't mean anything to the guitar, and it was mostly just to get that first time "out of the way." I made my purchase in 2002, and gently played the guitar with great appreciation for a short while. Over the years I have played less and less, and the guitar has been left unsatisfied. I admit that I have taken this guitar for granted by not making time for learning to play, and I'm only holding her back. An instrument like this deserves to be held lovingly and played by someone who will treat it like a guitar deserves to be treated.
In the hard case you will find a few miscellaneous whatnots like two guitar slides. ... and if you act now, I will throw in two guitar pedals: a BOSS V-Wah, and a ZOOM 505 guitar effects pedal (together, easily a $100 value). You can look it up, these are fun little toys. Now, don't be like one of those guys who is intimidated by the thought of using a battery-operated toy during playtime (batteries not included). It doesn't make you less of a man, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the shrieks and moans you'll get out of her.
This guitar is in great shape, with no scrapes or bruises, etc. I honestly want it to go to someone who will actually play it and have some fun. I have described this item to the best of my ability. However, being a piece of used musical equipment it should be considered as-is, with no warranty implied. "
AUSTIN RULEZZZ...
