Aye, that's the hardwire.

It's does pretty much everything well, but I like the cathedral more for dat infinite. You can grab em both from GC to check out and return em. :thumb:

:yay:
Haha I love this fucking Jazzmaster. Honestly, the only down fall is the bridge. The screws are definitely too long for the saddles and to obtain correct intonation is quite simply, a bitch. The reverb is a Digitech Hardwire Reverb RV-7.

As far as the chords and how I'm playing the song, I found online. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/4/tohereknowswhen8sx.jpg/sr=1, kudos to that person who figured that out. :thumb:

LOL, As far as the Cathedral goes, I would have liked to shell out the duckets for that. I may consider it later, but for now I'm enjoying the hell out of this pedal. Definitely going to begin building a arsenal of pedulzzzzzzzzzz.

That tone  congrats! Was the shoegazer the only fuzz in the chain?

I know everyone complains about the bridge on the bt jazzy. I just took the damn thing completely apart, dipped all the parts in vasoline and put it back together. Haven't had any problems with mine since. Except for one thing. I hit my strings pretty hard and that low e is constantly jumping out of the saddle.

If ya'll want an easier tuning this set up will get you real close to the live version
Low to high:
E a d g b d

then play these chords:
intro
d 0
b 8
g 0
d 0
a 10
E x

Add these to the intro for the verse:
if you play them one at a time before you'll instantly be able to hear where to play them in the song.
d 0
b 7
g 0
d 0
a 9
E x

d 0
b 0
g 0
d 10
a 8
E x

d 0
b 0
g 0
d 10
a 10
E 8

Chorus:

d 0
b 8
g 0
d 0
a 10
E x

d 0
b 10
g 0
d 0
a 12
E x

d 0
b 0
g 0
d 10
a 10
E 8

Boosh

Sounds fantastic man. I'm jealous of all of you with decent pedal boards.

The Devi Ever Shoe Gazer wasn't in the signal chain. Although, I'm trying to use it because it can get that crackled sound the Fat Sandwich can't.

Way Huge Fat Sandwich, which a friend gave to me (Thanks Jake!), is fucking awesome. Try it out. It's a pretty clean overdrive/can get dirty distortion.

What I suggest for Blacktop Jazzmaster owners is Loctite. When you setup the bridge, put a dab of it on the forward/back screws and height adjustment hex screws. It works!!!

Also, move to 11 gauge strings. That helped a bunch.

Definitely takes a while to build up a pedal board. I have at least 6 more I'd like to get at some point.

:picard:

I'm going to be broke.

Never got around to posting the link to the actual recording I did once I got some better equipment, but here it is! Better late than never! haha

http://snd.sc/U4kyl3

Was recorded with ProTools SE and an SM 57.

I used my 1982 Fender Concert along with my Fender Blacktop Jazzmaster.

And in all honesty, I can't remember the exact chain on pedals but I had formerly used the Fat Sandwich in the youtube video. This recording had the Black Arts Toneworks if I can remember right.

Enjoy! =)

Ok so this is pretty half ass I feel, as my webcam mic really sucks, and until I can get another XLR and free up some hard drive space, the ProTools recordings will have to wait.
But I felt like this was good enough to post. Anyways, enjoy!
