"Seagull" blew my mind wide open years before I even knew about MBV. And "Vapor Trail" is hands down one of the prettiest songs ever.

Honestly, I listen to it more than Loveless, to this day.

Nowhere is a really good one..hmm. Souvlaki was fantastic as well. I'm actually not a big fan of Loveless.
Luminous Orange had some good ones although their first one was very Loveless-like...

I'll just go with Nowhere.

Actually, this thread has just reminded how much I need to go back and re-listen to Medicine and Swervedriver. :thumb: Thanks!

i prefer the Slowdive EPs to the LPs, and listen to the MBV "Feed Me/Realise" EPs as much or more as Loveless.

does A Gilded Eternity by Loop count as a shoegaze album? if so, i'm going with that.

You, sir, are a true officer & a gentleman.

First time I listened to Pure, Impure, a nagging migraine that I'd had all day went away. Ever since, I've been convinced that the album is magic. TOTAL MAGIC.

What To Do About Them or Blonder Tongue Audio Baton by Swirlies.

And then there's Swervedriver's Mezcal Head... "Duress" is probably the most fun song I've heard.

But my favorite shoegaze song is a local one, I wish these dudes stuck together to record an album:

Fuck yeah. great album. As is "Shot Forth Self Living". The funny thing is, I'm perfectly willing to admit that I first learned of Medicine in The Crow (I was 14, oh well), Time Baby just kicked so much fucking ass that I looked into them, and holy shit, those two albums just killed me. And I really didn't listen to Loveless until a couple years later, and I said "this is really good, but I don't see why this is better than either of the Medicine albums"
