Considered a Epi EB-0 and a repacement pickup?

I bought one of these for a girl I was dating. Even without a replacement pickup, it sounded pretty good. Worth playing one before replacing the pickup.

And Your GF wanted a shortscale? You both pay the same instrument? Or what does she has to do with Your choice of instrument ? Not that I'm the biggest fan of presicion bass but that should be irrelevant. Right?

I play guitar for the most part nowadays and I love my P-bass (it was the first instrument I ever bought) but she's in a few bands and I let her borrow it. She's doesn't like it and I have some extra cash lying around so I'd figure I'd get her a new bass .
