Highly recommend it. When I had mine, it was one of the best tools I had ever used for electronic music production. I definitely miss it, but the OP-1 is doing a nice job of filling that void (they don't do the same exact thing, but I used each for electronic music).

So I'm sure the software has some kind of key-code you have to put in to activate on the computer. Would I able to transfer the software easily if I changed computers? Might be a dumb question

yeah just let NI know. They are cool about stuff like that. Also I think you get several licenses when you buy it.

i've installed it and Komplete on 4 different "machines" since i've had it. 2 different physical boxes, 3 OS/OS Wipe Reinstall on the 2nd box.
there's a sorta Steam like app called the Service Center you run to do verifications on installs, i just entered the activation code from the dvd each time, no problems, didna have to call NI.
Kontact 3 i DID have to call them.
