well the short scales have the two humbucker thing going so yeah a differentish tone but for me I couldnt get past the feel im a tall dude and 30" scale for a bass feel Very strange to me even though I really wanted to like it.. If they were to but out the full hollow artcore with dual humbuckers in 34" I would buy it in a heartbeat. and prob. install thundertrons.

me too! but it was only $13 to get it from VA to CA, so it wasn't so bad.
