How is that?

I have seen the build pics for it on their forums (i post there often 2) and that is not the most str8 forward first amp build. its a pretty gainy amp and there are lots of problems unless u have some experience

Now, if u got some balls, do it, prove me wrong

Id have to ask my dad first, hed be overseeing my little operation buuuut i think if he could work on tube radar equipment in the 70s he can most likely figure out an amp. Are there any special tools id be needing beside your basic soldering shit and hand tools??

Wire Snipes, Pliers, Soldering Iron, Current Limiter, Wire Strippers, Files, a good drill/drill press, set of bits, Some glue (either super glue or hot glue I use). Possibly a heat gun for shrink wrapping shit

gratz, i have done a few weber kits. The forum there is very very good for help in many ways

for some inspiration, this is my latest build. Make sure to really think about how your going to layout the wiring, Very critical for good performance and low noise. Grounding scheme is also very very important.

ahh the 6s100, i built one of those, but modded it to have a clean preamp for bass with a Bax EQ instead of an FMV EQ

i replace V1 with as 12au7 to lower gain, then i took the tone stack out of an Ampeg SVT 70s model, (its called a Baxandall Stack) and used that instead of the generic Fender Marshall Vox (FMV) tone stack
