The lead guitar player in the band I'm in has the shittyest fucking rig you've ever seen....ok...maybe it's not THAT shitty...but for a band that tours the region going into several states and big markets...it should be WAY better. Just a little Line 6 Spider Amp, a $50 guitar, and a whammy pedal that looks like it wasn't expensive way back when it was in decent condition.....but his sound is IMMACULATE. Like...when we're done playing, people will come up just to take a look at his rig and think we have a dummy one set up to mess with them.

One of our old rhythms had spent several thousand on a beautiful 70's tube amp and a sweet guitar and still everyone would be going up to the lead to see what he was using. He's just got a gift for making rat stuff sound like high end vintage. Long story still long...that's exactly what starts going through my mind when I start GASing after a Behndy demo.
