Damn it. Whenever I talk myself out of a small tube amp some company releases some new and even cooler small tube amp. I'll probably pick one of these up later this when I start working again. And for the record, that grill on the excelsior is awesome

They mentioned $200EUR for the radio one, and $300EUR for the other in another thread.

Dude, the Excelsior is my ideal amp.

They lOok great and for $300 you could mod whatever you don't like about the amp and still have a good price. Look forward to hearing some clips.

haha, not a fan of small tube amp combos at all mate. at low volumes they're alright, but i hate that squawky fizzy-as-fuck tone when you crank them up. it's good if you want to cop sympathy for the devil tones and the like, though.

I really can't wait to try one of these out. What I saw said $299 for the excelsior, and that may have been msrp, though i cant imagine it selling for any cheaper. This seems like a really quirky cool amp, but is it really much more than a dressed up pro Jr with tremolo and a 15? Eh, I guess even that makes it well worth it!

If I can unload my two AC4's, ill almost definitely get one if they sound as cool as they look. I dig the AC4, I'm just looking for a bit more wattage. Hoping the excelsior is the ticket...

even given the "how many 10~15W amps does a boy really NEED?" factor, the Excelsior is damned tempting. two 6V6s and a 15" speaker could = a downright blissful rhythm & blues tone.
