I use to be on the rick resource forums, and John Hall said something to the effect of those 2 early designs were stolen way early before they started shutting down fakes. So the tulip and 850 model are both fair game. Fano has a nice 850 copy. There are tons of teisco tulips, too.
The finish and overall aesthetic of these guitars kinda remind me of Supro's res o glass stuff, mainly the attache. not too bad on price, but I'd really have to play one.
