Huh, well whatdya know, that in the video was terribly noisy. Mine has no noise on any setting ever unless I'm providing the original noise (I just went over to my practice rig to verify; I turned the headphone volume all the way up on my amp, went through every setting and the only times I could get it to make any sounds were when I tricked it into feedbacking on itself). I guess it depends on the unit to an extent. I would expect the noise problem more on the older fd90's as opposed to the fd900's.

Also biyang had a killer looking ring mod a while back that supposedly had a gigantic range of speed; choppy tremelo to high-pitched ring mod. I looked at those power supplies a short while ago and gave up on them, mostly because of the team tesla, though. They do look a little too good to be true...

If I had a lot of time/a little more cash on my hands plus a good video/audio recording setup, I would totally buy all these pedals and review every one of them. I think the world needs this information, I mean, why spend $100 or more on one mass-produced Chinese pedal when you can find another mass produced Chinese pedal for half the price?!

I'm hoping we can get lots more people in here to share their experiences...

I had the Muza Delay/Verb pedal (I lost it at a festival show)

it had a crackle on the modulated delay/reverb setting that was really annoying but only if you turned the delay or verb time to maximum. I'd consider another one but I think I'd rather have an RV-3 just because I know they most all sound good.

I've had my eye on the Moen power supply and GEC9 Programmable true bypass looper. shit would make switching around dirt stacked noises so much easier.

Also the 438 and 434 loopers let you select any 3 pedals in the 4 loops as well as THEIR ORDER!!!!! :O so you can have a setting that goes flanger into OD into Fuzz then step on one switch and have Fuzz into Flanger into Phaser etc. all without having to own two flangers fuzzes and phasers

That Muza looks cool, but damn. That's pricey for what it is.

How so? They are less than $100 and do pretty much everything the dl4 does.

I had it it's hella good for the money.

it's like an RV-3 and RV-5 and A DL-4 had a baby. you can cycle the presets with the stop switch or you can use the little buttons on top to switch between them. it's really intuitive.

The looper on it is not quantized and I personally find it a little awkward to use like a normal looping pedal. So it's more like something I'd use to loop ambient or noisy janks.

Hrrmm.. I was actually looking for a nice reverb but that thing looks more than just promising... and I could use it as verb and delay at the same time... hmmmmm... dual delay action...

I've had a Joyo Ultimate Octave for about six months.

Build quality is decent, it's relatively quiet, and does what it copies relatively well.

There really aren't any massively extreme sounds in there, it's fairly polite and sedate, but that's partially why I bought it - I didn't have much that wasn't geared towards batshit insane. It plays fairly well with other pedals, and for the $30 it cost at the time was an absolute steal.

Feature-wise it's amazing. But from everything I'm reading on them, it seems like intermittent quality. That's more my concern.

I wonder if putting one in a true-bypass loop would enable you to fuck with it using a feedback looper. By itself the FD900 doesn't do much in one.
A modulation box fed into itself would be cool though, like an FM-4.
